My paintings are about connecting. By using different materials, I connect color, shape and material, as I would like to connect people. Disclose relationships that are not always visible. I still am a sculptor. I see my paintings as 2d sculptures.
The typical damask cloths are full of symbolism, religious or archetypal spheres, and universal subjects of human being-such as desire, pain, fear, or early memories. Parting what makes you feel at home, even if it’s confrontational, sometimes uncomfortable.
